Hi, I'm Alana. I'm 17 years old and I live in Connecticut with my family. I attend a boarding school as a day student and am more than happy there. I'm a history/art/french major, and cannot do calculus for my life. I enjoy movies, music (I'm human), magazines, and every once in a while a good book. I love making graphics and icons, as you may be able to tell, and have a graphic journal brightredboots with the lovely 0_blue_ruin_0. I have a dog and two sisters (very alike), and have recently begun obsessing over Law and Order in my spare time. Feel free to add me if you feel we have anything in common.

I originally lurked around LJ about two years ago as i_see_bats, and ran an icon journal deviant_bookend. However, last summer, I was bored with both of these and changed my identity to the more recent _velvetdivorce and collaborated with the ever talented madeitsimple to create multiple communities and most importantly our icon community aviatorshades, where I posted a good 5 icon posts (in a year? How upsetting!). So here I am now, determined to reinvent myself in this new name. Please do not take any of the graphics I make and display them as your own, or not credit at all. I'd love for people to use everything I make (that's mostly what they're for), however, one selfish person can ruin it. Please pay attention to the rules. Thanks so much!
